Advanced Research Training to Accelerate Your Expertise:
The Advanced Research Training at MKCRD offers a full-cycle, immersive research experience. We guide selected interns through a comprehensive process from team formation to data publication, applying academic rigor to real-world issues.
Our 3-Step Research Internship Model:
Step 1: Team Formation & Specialized Training. Interns are grouped into small teams (3–5 members) to foster collaboration. Training focuses on advanced research methodologies, precise proposal writing, and effective project design.
Step 2: Data Collection, Analysis, & Mentorship. Teams apply their training to real-world issues by gathering and analyzing data. This crucial step is conducted under the direct mentorship of MKCRD experts, ensuring methodological rigor and actionable results.
Step 3: Report Writing & Publication Support. Teams compile their findings into a comprehensive research report. Interns receive personalized guidance on structure, academic writing, and presentation. We support interns in publishing or presenting their research through MKCRD's platforms or external academic venues.
Social Research for Driving Change:
In addition to training, MKCRD conducts its own original social research projects focused on critical community challenges.
Our research priorities include:
Youth Development & Empowerment
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Social Work Grand Challenges
Policy Gaps and Community Improvement
We aim to produce research that directly drives policy changes and ultimately improves the quality of life for vulnerable populations locally and globally.
